During my years in the business world, there was always a creative part of me that manifested itself in traditionally “feminine” arts – sewing, knitting, and crochet. However, because my creations did not fit the traditional definition of “art”, I never considered myself to be an artist.

Through my work, I began to realize that art in fact does come in many different forms. I discovered new techniques and media - linen, bamboo, silk – each offering a new and exciting way of bringing my art to life. Intentional in spirit and design, each piece is executed using a variety of tools, dyes and paints. Inspired by textures and colors, my work reflects my joy in discovering what evolves.
